To think that spring is almost behind us
and summer will soon be here!

WOW, where has the time gone? Classes are running full force, a few were cancelled due to low enrollment and others have waiting lists. If only my “Crystal Ball” worked better. Keep in mind, now that your gardens are planted, we have several more classes starting throughout June and July.

Our line of notions and fabrics are always growing, we have recently ordered a fantastic line of “Orientals” that should be arriving mid July.

Marcie will be continuing with Breakfast Club till end of June, her last demo will be June 27, and she will be starting up again early September. She is also thinking of running a series of Quickie classes in August. These classes will be hands-on, stemming from her spring demo's. Sew if you have any requests now is the time to make them.

Now I'll get onto an event we're having next week.

Shannon from Janome will be joining us on Tuesday, June 16 to demo new quilting rulers from Australia. These rulers are not only beneficial when cutting out shapes but more importantly they are amazing when you actually quilt. They are fun and easy to use, great for echo quilting and a great alternative to template quilting. If you have seen our infinity quilt in the store, these are the rulers we used to create the quilting.

Recently scrap book magazines have been promoting stitches. Shannon will be demoing scrapbook by machine. There are sew many great features on both your sewing machine and embroidery machine that will further enhance your scrapbooking. From frames to edges, writing and more, come in and see what the fuss is all about.

To end her day with us, Shannon will be introducing the Digitizer Jr. Finally a digitizer program that is easy and inexpensive! Find out how easy it is to resize your embroideries, create your own designs, and more.

Our day with Shannon will start at 10 a.m. And end around 4 or 5 pm.

She will be starting with the rulers which will be great for all, garment sewers, quilters and fibre artists alike.

Shannon will then go on to scrapbooking, this demo will be great for everyone wanting to expand the use of their machine or their scrapbooking skills.

We will end our day with the Digitizer. This demo is primarily for people who own an embroidery machine. The great news is it doesn't matter what make or model. Digitizer Jr. is multi formatted.
